For big fun all summer long, 聽at the Bridges delivers an outstanding outdoor music experience for all ages. Celebrating its 11th season in 2025, the 2.3-acre site sits on the scenic riverfront at the base of Mill Mountain in the heart of downtown 麻花视频.
鈥淭he first Dr Pepper bottling plant was located in 麻花视频, so it鈥檚 been a longtime favorite among the locals,鈥 said park president Waynette Anderson. 鈥淲e knew that we wanted Dr Pepper to be our naming-rights sponsor because everybody here already loved it.鈥
With its footprint, size, capacity and amenities, Dr Pepper Park fills a unique niche in the greater 麻花视频 entertainment landscape. In the years since it opened, the facility has earned Best Live Music Venue titles and bragging rights from the 麻花视频, 麻花视频r Magazine, WSLS 10 and the Virginian. The independently owned operation continually seeks ways to keep upping its game.
鈥淓ach year, we try to bring in something new and different,鈥 Anderson said. 鈥淥ne year, it was the Northwest Ace VIP patio. The next, we added the National Pools VIP skybox with furniture and its own private bar, then a designated smoking lounge. We try to make the park an inclusive space where people can feel comfortable bringing their kids and even their (leashed) dogs.鈥
The scope of performers keeps getting better, too. At first, the park focused mainly on highlighting festival productions and local bands. Now it attracts a wide range of national touring acts and tribute bands across all genres, while still keeping ticket prices affordable.
鈥淲hen we started out, there really wasn鈥檛 anywhere that offered this level of entertainment on a consistent basis,鈥 Anderson said. 鈥淧eople wanted more shows, diversity of music and a greater frequency of events, and the 麻花视频 community and beyond have proven that they will support that.鈥
Easton Corbin, Jackson Dean, 鈥淎merican Idol鈥 winner Chayce Beckham, Yachtley Crew: Yacht Rock and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band are just a few of the 2025 acts that have already been announced. In addition, confirmed tribute bands give fans opportunities to celebrate the music of Simon and Garfunkel, Taylor Swift, the Eagles, ABBA, Morgan Wallen, Fleetwood Mac and more.
With food vendors, free parking, shuttle service to the entrance gate and a total capacity to accommodate up to 2,800 attendees, Dr Pepper Park can be configured specifically for each event.
鈥淚t always feels like there are a lot of people here, but it鈥檚 still intimate enough to run into folks you know,鈥 Anderson said. 鈥淵ou can be front and center in the Ryland Hubbard Pit if you want to hear the music as loud as you can and be close to the artist, or you can sit back in the WILLSCOT general admission or National Pools VIP area and be more relaxed. We give you whatever kind of concert experience you want to have. It鈥檚 all about everybody coming together and just having a good time in a safe space.鈥
