RICHMOND — Two were alleged to have shared sexually explicit messages, images and videos involving children with each other, according to court documents.
Shaun Jason Adams, 49, of Petersburg, was arrested on a child pornography possession charge on July 22. Police searched his home following the arrest.

After the July arrest, investigators received a tip about "concerning messages" being sent to underaged children from Adams and Richard Franklin Troshak III, 33, of North Chesterfield.
Police searched Adams' phone and found a series of messages between Adams and Troshak containing sexually explicit messages about children, as well as images and videos of child sexual abuse material, according to court documents.

The criminal complaint said the pictures and videos showed boys younger than the age of 13 "engaged in sexual acts with Adams and/or Troshak present."
The complaint also said that pictures and videos were taken in school and public bathrooms.

Adams was a teacher at , while Troshak taught at the Court documents indicated that the two previously worked together at Tuckaway Daycare in Chesterfield.
Earlier this month, Adams was released on unsecured bond from the July charge. He was arrested Friday on 25 counts of felony manufacturing of child pornography and five felony counts of indecent liberties with a child.
Troshak was arrested Friday and charged with eight counts of felony manufacturing of child pornography and two felony counts of indecent liberties with a child.
Both suspects are being held at without bond. Both were terminated from their jobs with Chesterfield County Public Schools.
Adams' arraignment hearing was held Monday in His adjudicatory hearing is scheduled for Nov. 6.
An arraignment hearing was held for Troshak in  on Monday, with another arraignment hearing coming Wednesday. His adjudicatory hearing is scheduled for Sept. 25.
Chesterfield police are continuing to investigate Troshak and are seeking additional victims.
