Radford University reported Friday that its enrollment this fall continues to build on the record-breaking new student enrollment of the 2024-25 academic year.
Radford enrolled 7,837 students this fall, up from 7,812 in fall 2024. Undergraduate enrollment increased by 1% while new graduate enrollment grew by 8%, the university said.
鈥淲e are encouraged to see continued growth across both our undergraduate and graduate programs,鈥 said Dannette Gomez Beane, vice president for Enrollment Management and Strategic Communications. 鈥淭hese results demonstrate the power of Radford鈥檚 transparent admissions approach and our commitment to accessibility.鈥
Undergraduate enrollment on main campus grew to 5,251 students, from 5,059 last year. Enrollment in graduate, online programs reached their highest levels since before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
Other highlights include the College of Nursing, with its largest undergrad class in history at 1,295 students, including 700 new students on main campus, and the Honors College, which grew by 10%.
The Honors College grew to 425 students, up from 386 a year ago. New honors enrollment increased 13% to 156 incoming students for the fall.
The university reported that overall enrollment is steady, and growth is concentrated in fields with high demand and access to the programs continues to be affordable through initiatives such as Direct Admissions and the Radford Tuitoin Promise.
